Purpose This research paper explores the adoption and impact of Human Resource (HR) Analytics Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Information Technology (IT) sector. The study involves interviews with HR experts IT industry to understand their perceptions experiences these technologies. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, which fifteen managers interviewed. Findings findings reveal that AI significantly functions, capabilities, decision-making To successfully adopt analytics AI, professionals must possess technical skills such as data analysis, coding, analytical thinking, design domain knowledge. interviewees also highlighted importance connecting initiatives financial outcomes, creating strategies, contributing processes, aligning activities organizational objectives. The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in academia is an emerging field interest. However, there scant literature that explores the phenomenon AI by graduate students doctoral education. This study employs collaborative autoethnography to explore and better understand nuances how experience technologies within academic pursuits. A critical analysis data revealed collective researcher-participant experiences offered primary overarching theme strategy, with four distinct subthemes: fear, resistance, feasibility, ethics. findings suggest a balanced approach depends on development comprehensive strategies are informed deep understanding both technological capabilities human factors involved. We urge educators involved programs think critically about these identified themes. For students, this offers valuable insights into challenges associated integrating formal learning environments, potentially enhancing management strategy for their studies.
