ABSTRACT
This
paper
presents
findings
from
a
qualitative
study
that
explored
the
factors
affecting
start‐up
employees'
adoption
of
AI
technology
for
innovation
ecosystems.
Using
thematic
analysis
based
on
interviews
with
35
employees
start‐ups,
we
employed
grounded
theory
approach
due
to
newness
context
and
limited
prior
research.
Our
identified
several
key
themes,
including
perceived
benefits
AI,
technical
considerations,
organizational
culture
values,
employee
attitudes
beliefs,
access
resources,
legal
ethical
industry‐specific
factors.
We
found
such
as
data
quality
infrastructure,
played
significant
role
in
determining
adoption.
Additionally,
values
were
important
shaping
towards
AI.

cultural

Purpose
Environmental,

Chinese
sample
of
960
firm-year
observations
2011
2021,
we
apply
fuzzy-set
qualitative
comparative
analysis
(fsQCA)
explore
configurations
leading
Findings
The
results
show
that
multiple
