Introduction
The
digital
economy
is
reshaping
economic
structures
and
resource
flows,
but
its
role
in
enhancing
allocation
efficiency
within
the
framework
of
green
development
has
not
yet
been
fully
explored.
Methods
This
paper
analyzes
panel
data
from
257
Chinese
cities
to
investigate
how
influences
regional
efficiency,
with
a
focus
on
mediating
innovation.
Results
results
show
that
significantly
improves
nonlinear
effects
characterized
by
increasing
marginal
returns.
Mechanism
tests
reveal
optimizes
fostering
Heterogeneity
analysis
indicates
eastern
regions

environmental
regulations,

The
Belt
and
Road
Initiative
(BRI)
has
been
implemented
for
over
a
decade;
however,
research
on
its
impact
China’s
transport
sector
remains
relatively
scarce.
It
is
imperative
to
investigate
whether
the
BRI
greatly
enhanced
growth
of
Green
Total
Factor
Productivity
(GTFP)
in
across
provinces
along
route
because
logistics
hub
crucial
sustainable
land
development
local
economy.
To
address
this
missing
link,
study
examined
GTFP
cities
by
employing
global
Luenberger
nonradial
directional
distance
function
(GLNDDF).
Subsequently,
Difference-in-Differences
(DID)
model
was
applied
evaluate
policy
regional
sector.

results

as
follows:

findings

that
statistically

very
weak
governance
transportation
sector,
