Enhancing urban innovation resilience is crucial for adapting to change and pursuing innovation-driven, high-quality development. This study utilizes panel data from 285 prefecture-level above cities in China, spanning 2007 2022. The flourishing of the tourism market generates gigantic carbon emissions. It is imperative for companies to take action achieve decarbonization. emergence digital technology gradually becoming an important strategic path global corporations’ technological evolution. Undoubtedly, tools provide a fresh opportunity reduce their footprint. Realizing positive interaction between digitization and greenization essential high-quality development. Aiming clarify relationship transformation company intensity in companies, this study analyzes influence mechanism on companies’ using data from Chinese A-share listed over period 2005–2020. With help textual analysis high-dimensional fixed effects model, paper builds proxy further tests causal link intensity. findings indicate that significantly reduces companies. Alleviating managerial myopia, attracting external resources, fostering collaborative culture are three mechanisms through which can exert its reduction efficacy. heterogeneity reveals effect more prominent among state-owned with greater board diversity, or situated favorable business environments.
