This chapter explores the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public participation, spanning from supportive to autonomous roles within framework e-participation. It delineates this progression elaborating a three-stage model which AI acts as an Assistant, Guide, and Governor. Each stage is examined exploring relevant cases literature, identifying key functions, their underlying technologies, human technological interplay. outlines how can enhance citizen engagement improve government responsiveness, while addressing ethical, cultural, democratic challenges posed by increased integration. Ultimately, strategic that intersects integration with five levels e-participation presented, offering overview perspectives citizen-government interactions across these levels, operate opportunities challenges, support transform governance inform digital transformation.
