Abstract
Marine
genetic
resources
hold
great
value
for
biotechnological
innovation
and
sustainability-oriented
research.
However,
studies
indicate
that
intellectual
property
rights
pertaining
to
these
are
concentrated
in
a
handful
of
companies
countries,
triggering
contentious
international
debates.

an
