In an era marked by globalization and rapid technological advancements, the agri-food sector confronts both unprecedented challenges opportunities. Among these, digital traceability systems have emerged as pivotal in enhancing operational efficiencies, ensuring food safety, promoting transparency throughout supply chain. This study presents a comparative analysis of adoption its impact across member countries Organization for Economic Co-operation Development (OECD). By utilizing multidimensional analytical framework, this investigates national regulations, legal frameworks, key commodities affected implementations. It systematically assesses efficacy these meeting consumer expectations, regulatory compliance, overarching goal sustainable chains. Through case studies empirical evidence, paper elucidates complex interplay between innovation environments, offering insights into best practices potential integration barriers. Ultimately, comprehensive investigation contributes to scholarly discourse on traceability, providing actionable recommendations policymakers, industry stakeholders, academia navigate complexities modern systems.

Community energy systems (CESs) are key elements for the local transition and receiving considerable attention. In this context, agent-based modelling simulation (ABMS) is becoming one of prominent computational approaches studying CESs. However, no systematic critical review such models has been conducted. Therefore, study investigates studies that used ABMS to CESs, comprehensively analyse structure branch literature, suggest future research avenues. The six following from Overview, Design concepts Details (ODD) used: (i) purposes, (ii) agents their variables, (iii) theories, (iv) initialisation narrative, (v) network structures interactions, (vi) input data. analysis demonstrated particular purposes (e.g. social learning) specific (e.g., companies) neglected in practices. Furthermore, developed mainly focused on economic discipline, including topics as market design, related environmental behavioural/institutional disciplines largely missing. Such domination also reflects narratives networks modelling. most studied cases European countries electricity-generating CESs based solar photovoltaics. Further insights avenues elaborated detail.
