By applying the matching technique to a sample of Spanish tourism family firms, we analyze factors that describe competitive strategy, asset and ownership structure, managerial practices first-generation firms compared subsequent generations. The article aims to identify the effects and determinants of implementing digital customer service tools in Polish SMEs terms requirements. Quantitative research was conducted among using a survey. following statistical methods were used analyze survey data: Dunn’s post hoc tests, ANOVA Kruskal–Wallis test, Kendall’s rank correlation coefficient, Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARSplines). Цифрова трансформація є ключовим фактором підвищення конкурентоспроможності та ефективності діяльності малих і середніх підприємств (МСП). Досліджено основні детермінанти цифрової трансформації МСП, класифіковано їх за групами запропоновано модель їхнього впливу на успіх цифровізації бізнесу. На основі аналізу наукових досліджень виявлено, що цифрова залежить від детермінант, які умовно поділяються технологічні, організаційні, людські зовнішнього впливу. Модель МСП враховує взаємодію цих детермінант дозволяє визначити ключові напрями для успішної цифровізації. Підкреслюється важливість формування стратегії, розвитку цифрових компетенцій інтеграції сучасних технологій у бізнес-процеси. Пропонуються практичні рекомендації ініціатив малому середньому бізнесі.
