Purpose This study attempts to employ a dynamic capability perspective delve into the effects of artificial intelligence capabilities on sustainable business model innovation, while considering strategic agility as mediator and environmental dynamism moderator. Design/methodology/approach employed partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) methodologies conduct empirical data from 337 Chinese firms. Findings The results reveal that contribute positively which is mediated by agility. Additionally, strengthens impact resource fluidity. Practical implications Firms should prioritize enhancement leverage their role in sensing opportunities.
