The
objective
of
this
article
was
to
explore
managerial
trends
and
the
implementation
artificial
intelligence
in
university
management,
with
a
particular
focus
on
Latin
American
context.
To
end,
mixed
study
designed,
operationalized
through
documentary
review
bibliometric
procedures,
qualitative
thematic
analysis,
triangulation
system,
an
integration
data
supported
by
external
sources.
results
were
organized
into
five
management
strategies,
three
emerging
trends,
recommendations
for
managers,
main
themes.
These
reflect
significant
progress,
but
also
pose
challenges,
especially
regions
structural
inequalities
resource
constraints.
analyzed
indicate
need
balanced
approach
that
combines
technological
innovation
ethical
social
considerations.
Furthermore,
findings
emphasize
importance
international
collaboration
local
capacity
building
ensure
equitable
sustainable
AI.
It
is
concluded
it
cardinal
underline
potential
AI
transform
higher
education,
provided
technical,
ethical,
challenges

addressed

ABSTRACT
Early
career
researchers
(ECRs)
are
in
an
ideal
position
to
soothsay.
Yet,
much
of
what
we
know
about
the
impact
artificial
intelligence
(AI)
comes
from
vested
interest
groups,
such
as
publishers,
tech
companies
and
industry
leaders,
which
strong
on
hyperbole,
superficial
and,
at
best,
narrow
surveys.
This
paper
seeks
redress
this
by
providing
deep
empirical
data
researchers,
allowing
us
hear
researchers'
views
‘voices’.
The
