Abstract Introduction The global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic relies significantly on vaccination. collective international effort has been massive, but pace of vaccination finds hindrance due to supply and vaccine hesitancy factors. Understanding public perceptions, especially through lens social media, is important. This study investigates impact media perceptions among university students in Malawi. Methodology utilized a quantitative methodology employed cross-sectional design explore relationship between dynamics 382 randomly sampled at MUBAS. Vaccination acceptance and its rates among Malaysians have generally been shown to be high during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, statistics from Ministry of Health Malaysia show that uptake for booster jab vaccination is significantly lower than rate when first dose vaccinations was offered. Thus, this study examined perceived benefits social media exposure practices Malaysians, moderated by self-efficacy. The used Stimulus-Response model as a theoretical basis. A quantitative method applied conducting an online survey gathering 300 valid data. employed non-probability sampling procedure combined purposive convenience samplings. data analysed using structural equation modeling via Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). results affirmed positive significant relationship with practices. Meanwhile, moderating role self-efficacy established negative between practices, does not moderate path research findings provide opportunity more comprehensive educational programmes focus on consistency in providing public adequate knowledge communicating consistent health messages curb spread virus. This study assesses COVID-19 booster intentions and hesitancy in Texas, a state known for its diversity libertarian values. A survey was conducted with 274 participants residing Texas between June July 2022. The analysis examined sociodemographic health-related factors, trusted information sources, preventive behaviors. focused on vaccinated their intention to receive the dose, which categorized into three outcomes: yes, no, not sure. Machine learning techniques were employed analyze responses of identify most critical factors. Among participants, 113 expressed get (41.2%), 107 did plan (39.1%), 54 remained undecided (19.7%). Our findings indicate that perception vaccine safety significantly influenced decision dose. Those who reported trust social media contacts as reliable sources more likely intend boost. Additionally, among those hospitalized when diagnosed COVID-19, largest proportion unwilling (47.0%) compared intended (33.3%). In contrast, believed they would be if infected booster. A vacinação é uma importante estratégia biológica responsável pela prevenção de doenças transmissíveis. Os profissionais e estudantes da área saúde fazem parte do grupo risco para infecções que são imunopreviníveis. Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a situação vacinal dos medicina, farmácia enfermagem vacinas contra virais acordo com faixa etária, além analisar opinião respeito motivos existentes recusa ou atraso vacinal. Trata-se um transversal, abordagem quantitativa, envolvendo acadêmicos saúde. Para análise resultados empregou-se teste qui-quadrado (χ2) o nível significância mínimo aceitável foi p ≤ 0,05. Participaram 130 graduação em cursando primeiro segundo semestres. mostraram maioria era sexo feminino (61,5%) estavam esquema completo, mas ainda havia número significativo incompleto. Observou-se as maior frequência imunizados foram Covid-19 (98,5%), Febre Amarela (80,0%) Tríplice Viral (79,2%), seguida Hepatite B, onde 56,9% completaram 3 doses, por fim, Influenza, 53,9% relatando ter tomado dose nos últimos anos. Ao comparar sexo, verificou-se diferença estatisticamente significativa vacina B (p=0,001), os participantes doses. Além disso, identificados alguns na vacinação, medo reações adversas, falta informações desconhecimento das fake news. Apesar números satisfatórios completude entre acadêmicos, há proporção incompleto, indica necessidade conscientização incentivo à essa população.
