Nomophobia, the fear of being without a mobile phone, is increasingly prevalent among university students, impacting their psychological well-being and academic performance. This study assesses level knowledge psychological, academic, social outcomes associated with nomophobia students at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A descriptive cross-sectional design was employed, involving 350 undergraduate recruited via convenience sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaire adapted from Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q). Statistical analyses, including statistics, Pearson correlation, multiple regression, conducted IBM SPSS. The majority participants (51.4%) exhibited moderate nomophobia. Higher scores significantly lower performance (r = -0.35, p < 0.001) greater distress, anxiety (mean score 5.2) panic when phone battery low 4.8). Regression analysis identified gender (β 0.28, smartphone ownership 0.20, 0.003) as predictors findings highlight nomophobia's negative impact on students' well-being, emphasizing need for educational interventions to promote healthier usage. Addressing through targeted strategies could improve overall student wellness.

Abstract Background Recent guidelines in paediatric critical care emphasize the implementation of evidence-based liberation bundle to improve patient outcomes intensive units (PICUs). However, there is limited information on application this Egyptian hospitals, and effectiveness educational programs nurse performance context remains unclear. Aim This study aimed evaluate effect an program nurses’ regarding unit. Methods A one-group pre/post quasi-experimental design was employed. The conducted PICUs Al-Azhar University Hospital Menoufia Hospital, involving a convenient sample 52 nurses. Data were collected using two tools: predesigned questionnaire assess knowledge about observational checklist practices before after program. Results results demonstrated significant improvements post-intervention. studied total level increased from 13.7 92.3% post-educational X2 (P. value) = 89.143(0.000). 9.6 80.8% Conclusion significantly enhanced applying PICUs. improvement expected lead better for patients, including reduced mortality, shorter PICU stays, fewer post-intensive complications.
