Long COVID represents a significant challenge in understanding the prolonged impact of disease. Despite its increasing recognition, detailed insights into long-term cardiopulmonary consequences remain sparse. This study aimed to evaluate functional capacity individuals with persistent symptoms after severe COVID-19 infection compared control without symptomatic or mild 17 months. is case-control assessing 34 divided two groups regarding by distance 6-min walk test (D6MWT) associated gas analysis, spirometry, respiratory muscle strength, and quality life. During 6 MWT, an important lower heart rate (HR) was observed for group (106 ± 10 bpm, difference mean: 21.3; p < 0.001), greater exertional perception (Borg dyspnea: 4.5 [2.0-9.0], 0.001 Borg fatigue: 4.0 [2.0-7.0], = 0.01), decrease covered (416 94 m, 107; 0.002), low value O2 uptake (V˙O2) (11 5.0 mL/(kg min), 8.3; 0.005) minute ventilation (22 8 L/min, 18.6; addition very life scores. Regression analysis showed association between D6MWT fatigue dyspnea at rest (p 0.003; 0.009). V˙O2 HR were also significantly outcomes 0.04 0.004, respectively). In conclusion, who have persist capacity, V˙O2, behavior,
