This article discusses 'Metaverse' from a technical perspective, focusing on networked systems aspects. Based definition of the 'Metaverse', we examine current state and challenges in communication networking within Metaverse systems. We describe state-of-the-art different enabling technologies provide analysis system architectures. then detail gaps four areas: performance, mobility, large-scale operation, end architecture. our analysis, formulate vision for future infrastructure, outlining goals, design concepts, suggested research directions.

Individual differences among different subjects pose a great challenge to motor imagery (MI) decoding. Multi-source transfer learning (MSTL) is one of the most promising ways reduce individual differences, which can utilize rich information and align data distribution subjects. However, MSTL methods in MI-BCI combine all source into single mixed domain, will ignore effect important samples large multiple To address these issues, we introduce joint matching improve it multi-source (MSTJM) weighted MSTJM (wMSTJM). Different from previous MI, our for each pair subjects, then integrate results by decision fusion. Besides that, design an inter-subject MI decoding framework verify effectiveness two algorithms. It mainly consists three modules: covariance matrix centroid alignment Riemannian space, selection Euclidean space after tangent mapping negative computation overhead, further or wMSTJM. The superiority this verified on common public datasets BCI competition IV. average classification accuracy wMSTJ outperformed other state-of-the-art at least 4.24% 2.62% respectively. In this work, we propose a novel framework to recognize the cognitive and affective processes of brain during neuromarketing-based stimuli using EEG signals. The most crucial component our approach is proposed classification algorithm that based on sparse representation scheme. basic assumption features from or process lie linear subspace. Hence, test signal can be represented as (or weighted) combination signals all classes in training set. class membership determined by adopting Sparse Bayesian Framework with graph-based priors over weights combination. Furthermore, rule constructed residuals experiments publicly available neuromarketing dataset demonstrate usefulness approach. For two tasks offered employed dataset, namely state recognition recognition, scheme manages achieve higher accuracy compared baseline state-of-the art methods (more than 8% improvement accuracy).
