The fruit processing industry generates a considerable amount of waste, which leads to significant nutritional and economic losses. most common waste materials include pomace, peels, rind, seeds. They contain valuable natural bioactive compounds, such as carotenoids, polysaccharides, dietary fibers, enzymes, polyphenols, oils, vitamins. These compounds can be recovered by using suitable conventional or non-conventional methods. Conventional methods Soxhlet extraction, hydro-distillation, maceration. Non-conventional enzyme-assisted, ultrasound-assisted, microwave-assisted, solid-liquid, solvent extractions, well pulsed electric field. Fruit peels used synthesize metallic nanoparticles, edible packaging, single-cell proteins, biosorbents, biochar, carbon dots, biofertilizers. Furthermore, their have pharmacological potential. In particular, they utilized antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-neoplastic agents. are also cost-effective solution that mitigate various environmental problems aid in reducing loss. this article, we reviewed different extraction techniques employed retrieve from peel along with industrial, biotechnological, applications.

We studied five common perishable fruits in terms of their polyphenols dynamic, minerals distribution, scavenger activity and the effects 50% ethanolic extracts on viability Caco-2 cells vitro, over a period time between T = 0 5/7 days, typically end shelf life. Altogether, there were few changes found, consisting either an increase or decrease chemical biological attributes. A slow was found antioxidant apricot (-11%), plum (-6%) strawberry (-4%) extracts, while cherry green seedless table grape gained 7% 2% potency, respectively; IC50 values ranged from 1.67 to 5.93 μg GAE/μL test extract. The cytotoxicity MTS assay at 24 h revealed ability all ethanol fruit inhibit cell viability; inhibitory 49% 83% measured 28 µg GAE for extracts/EES, 22 45 extracts/EEC, 7.58 15.16 extracts/EEA, 12.50 25.70 extracts/EEP 21.51 28.68 extracts/EEG. anti-proliferative (72 h) also stimulatory potency upon viability, 34% (EEA, EEG) 48% (EEC) 350% (EES) 690% (EEP); therefore juices can influence intestinal tumorigenesis humans.
