Sulfolane,
an
organic
solvent
widely
used
in
the
petrochemical
industry,
has
raised
concerns
due
to
its
potential
health
risks
and
environmental
mobility.
Toxicological
studies
suggest
that
it
may
negatively
affect
human
ecological
health,
highlighting
need
for
risk
assessments.

sulfolane,
BTEX
compounds
(benzene,
toluene,
ethylbenzene,
xylenes)

Abstract
The
abundance
and
environmental
friendliness
in
nature
of
sulfur
(S)
make
Li–S
batteries
more
attractive
addition
to
the
high
theoretical
capacity
(1675
mAh
g
−1
)
energy
density
(2600
Wh
kg
batteries.
In
this
study,
a
bio‐based
S
cathode
with
graphene
(Gr)
coating,
capable
effectively
suppressing
shuttle
effect
polysulfides,
is
enabled
via
networking
soy
protein
(SP)
polydopamine
(PDA)
form
functional
bio‐binder
(SP‐PDA).
Dopamine
self‐polymerization
SP
not
only
generates
interpenetrated
network
for
but
also
makes
denatured
structure
rich
groups
effective
trapping
polysulfides.
Meanwhile,
Gr
coating

impedance,
electronic
