Purpose The rapid growth of halal tourism over the past decade has made it a lucrative market, with destinations competing for Muslim travellers. This study examines factors influencing tourists' intention to visit in Indonesia, using push-pull-mooring (PPM) model understand this phenomenon. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected self-administered questionnaire. A total 328 usable responses used analyse data. proposed conceptual framework was tested covariant-based structural equation modelling (CB-SEM). Findings Results indicate that push, pull and mooring motives positively influence towards destinations. Among these motives, novelty seeking, escapism, halal-friendly destination performance, attributes destination, religiosity subjective norms most critical improved intention. Some Special Forms of Tourism (SFT) are the result technological developments (e.g. virtual tourism, e-tourism, or emotional intelligence) using highly developed specialist systems that can provide a greater variety tourism products and services. Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver mobile device other navigational techniques to hide seek containers, called geocaches caches, at specific locations marked by coordinates all over world. Overtourism is causing many problems in the world's most popular destinations. As a result, of these cities are opting to impose series taxes on tourists who visit destinations, so-called green taxes, an attempt reverse some caused by tourist activity. However, can be used both protect destination and promote it, aggravating problem they were originally intended solve. Thus, this research aims find out residents' opinions, taking into account variables related their environmental perception, how should used. To end, sample 120 residents was taken and, through Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) models, fuzzy-set (fsQCA) method, which identify causal relationships that explain specific reality (whether have pay fees) given set conditions (environmental attitude, use fees for promotion or protection), different results obtained.
