Novelty is often depicted as the essence of travelling and gaining attention in tourism literature. However, understanding novelty diverse, with multiple theoretical perspectives a lack consensus regarding its definition conceptualisation. This study integrates different presents an extended analysis progress tourism, both chronologically thematically. The findings indicate three thematic clusters categorised based on core novelty, antecedents, consequences, evolving through time periods. results show that mostly emotional appraisal attributes, influenced by novelty-seeking personality traits, can drive consequences including tourist satisfaction, loyalty, value. Future research explore integrated perspective defining attitudinal belief varying degrees valence, extremity, arousal evaluative space, which connects to other relevant antecedents consequences.

Destination image influences tourists’ perceptions and opinions of destinations plays a crucial role in tourist behavior travel-purchase-related decisions. This study summarizes reviews 151 pieces literature on destination published six major international hospitality tourism academic journals the last decade (January 2012–February 2022). By combing through literature, we found that research previous has focused following four areas: (1) structure image; (2) measurement branding image, (3) influencing factors (4) influence behavioral intentions. These results revealed clarified latest dynamics. The findings provide an all-encompassing understanding illustrate evolution topic, point to directions for future research.

Due to the increasing popularity of remote work, digital nomadism has become a growing trend. Given that nomads can stay in destinations longer, their contacts with residents more dynamic, including numerous social conflicts. By drawing on realistic group conflict theory and identity complexity, this paper investigates how negative consequences conflicts be mitigated strengthen nomads’ identification destination increase revisit intention. Using multi-national sample 307 from four popular destinations, we find alleviated by stronger cooperative contact through which provide instrumental support nomads. The psyche-altering effects of COVID-19 pandemic on sustainable tourism behaviors are underexplored. More so, the scant research largely presents tourists' perspective. Extending this body work, our study – deploying evolutionary paradigm, examines whether, why and when perceived infectability (pathogen avoidance motive) impairs resident hospitality, using a multi-wave data from MTurk U.S. workers (N = 857). As predicted, relates positively with tourist negative stereotype, which then negatively hospitality. Unexpectedly, infectability's relation hospitality was positive. However, stereotype transmits effect to Moreover, origin belief amplifies positive further strengthens indirect through stereotype. Theoretical, social, managerial implications for development have been discussed.

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has revolutionized how we interact with information and entertainment, ChatGPT, a language model developed by OpenAI, one of its prominent applications. However, there is limited knowledge the psychological impact interacting ChatGPT. This study investigates relationships between trust in user perception stereotype two outcomes: well-being self-esteem. The hypothesizes that ChatGPT have positive direct relationship Additionally, proposes moderated job anxiety. Using survey design, data are collected from 732 participants analyzed using SEM SmartPLS analysis. results indicated significantly predicts self-esteem, while also found anxiety moderates well-being. provided important insights into effects AI highlighted role moderating these effects. These findings implications for developing various fields, such as mental health human-robot interactions.
