This study explores the inherent interdependencies between microfinance social enterprises and two groups of women informal farm entrepreneurs tourism in four impoverished rural regions Iran. Using a qualitative constructivist grounded theory methodology, findings suggest that tend to engage greater coexistence weak vertical horizontal ties. This study explores the motivations and constraints of Iranian women entrepreneurs within a restrictive socioeconomic cultural landscape. It adopts qualitative approach utilizes semi-structured interviews to investigate complex interplay between financial limitations, gender biases, regulatory challenges face. Purpose This study explored the role of assertiveness, family satisfaction, and support in enhancing farm performance women-led dairy farms, with cohesion as a mediating variable. It is widely believed that participation in tourism empowers women, particularly by providing direct employment and income generation. However, this perspective frequently overlooks women's agency self-actualization. This study examines the Tingsong Cultural Community (TCC) northeast China, integrating self-empowerment with role theory to focus on female tourism. Utilizing multiple data collection strategies, both primary secondary were gathered between July 2019 December 2022. Through inductive thematic analysis, research unpacks transitions of Chinese rural women within practices dynamics self-empowerment. The findings reveal that: (1) transition a dynamic process involving exploration, identification, obligation, marked an enhanced sense self-empowerment; (2) arises from awareness interaction, benefiting economic, cultural, subjective dimensions; (3) external support essential for empowerment, ideally starting vulnerable individuals allow develop organically. refines concepts while establishing relationship self-empowerment, contributing existing knowledge. practical implications related investment, endogenous development, digital engagement are insightful sustainability similar destinations.
