Ecotourism is a sustainable tourism form that emphasizes the harmonious relationship between human and nature, with local communities playing key role in providing services protecting natural resources. Using semi-structured interviews conducted at various ecotourism sites Binh-Tri-Thien region (Central Vietnam), this study has illuminated of fostering development. Communities actively contribute by offering distinctive products while preserving cultural values, safeguarding environment, relationships visitors. The findings reveal play roles as tour guides, providers accommodation services, producers handicrafts, generating income promoting exchange. However, barriers such skill deficiencies gender inequalities continue to limit participation certain groups, particularly women. While environmental preservation given considerable attention, risk traditional erosion remains significant, especially among ethnic minority communities. Based on these insights, recommends expanding scope research integrating qualitative quantitative methods enhance reliability findings.

This study explores the residents' behavioral determinants of ecological conservation in rural tourism development, focusing on resident participation to promote sustainable development industry. By integrating Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) and Norm Activation Model (NAM), it examines roles subjective norm, responsibility attribution, environmental risk perception, human capital shaping behavior. Based data from 331 valid responses collected through a questionnaire survey, structural equation model (SEM) was performed using SPSS AMOS analyze The findings reveal that norm attribution significantly enhance protection intention, which subsequently boosts relationship between behavior is mediated by while perception positively moderates norm-behavior relationship. Additionally, intention-behavior Significant differences were found based gender age, with men women, as well different age groups, responding uniquely intention perception. To targeted policy recommendations put forward.
