Nano-alumina (AlNPs) is widely used because of its unique physicochemical properties. AlNPs can be released directly or indirectly into the environment, causing extensive exposure and potential harm to humans. Exposure may impair learning memory, but toxicity not fully understood. Studies have shown that cause neurotoxic neurodevelopmental toxic effects. In this chapter, we investigate neurotoxicity particles their effects on mitochondria autophagy. This series studies provide clear mechanisms therapeutic directions for induced by AlNPs.

Copper oxide nanoparticles are thought to be an important transition metal due their interesting properties. Selenium is structural component of numerous enzymes, including glutathione peroxidase (GPx), thioredoxin reductase, as well deiodinases. The present work was undertaken evaluate the histological and immunohistochemical alterations in adult rat ovary after oral administration CuO-NPs, assess potential ameliorative impact selenium. Sixty female albino rats were equally divided two major groups: group I II. Group further into three control IA, IB: given 2000 mg/kg CuO-NPs once, IC: received selenium (0.5 mg/kg), five days before giving one high dose CuO-NPs. Thereafter, for 14 days. II subdivided IIA (control), IIB: 300 mg/kg/dayof 28 days, IIC: starting concomitant 0.5 Both IB IIB showed signs follicle corpora lutea degeneration revealed increased numbers apoptotic bodies atretic follicles. Increased reactions caspase 3 decreased BCL2 also demonstrated. Apoptosis greater IB. IC IIC apparent improvement structure, (by 34.3% acute study 38% chronic study),decreased follicles 37.5% 34.78% study), compared groups respectively.

Personal care products (PCPs) contain a number of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) that could potentially affect the reproductive function in women childbearing age. However, studies focused on effects PCPs use outcomes are very limited. The current study aimed to explore relationships between patterns and undergoing vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) treatment. A total 1500 from Tongji Reproductive Environmental (TREE) December 2018 January 2020 were included this study. Participants provided characteristics within previous three months. Retrieved oocyte number, mature two distinct pronuclei (2PN) zygote fertilization rate, cleavage blastocyst formation implantation, clinical pregnancy, miscarriage, live birth followed up as endpoints. Generalized linear regression model was utilized assess associations various categories endpoints IVF/ICSI. After adjusting for relevant covariates, who used skin ≥14 times per week had reduction 22.4% maturation rate (95% CI: -39.2%, -1.6%) compared participants did not products. transferring fresh embryos, cosmetics 1-2 (adjusted OR = 2.2, 95% 1.0, 4.8) or 3-7 2.5, 1.2, 5.2) higher possibility miscarriage than those cosmetics. There negative association gel soap among aged < 30 years old (P interaction 0.01). Among with BMI ≥ 24 kg/m2, negatively associated 0.04), while 0.001). Our findings suggest age have potential adverse impact IVF/ICSI outcomes, particularly cosmetic

Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) are commonly used in industrial and household applications, prompting the assessment of their associated health risks. Previous studies indicated that ZnO NPs can induce somatic cell mutations, while aging process appears to increase mutagenicity NPs. However, little is known about influence on genome stability germ cells, non-exposed progeny. Here we show 20 nm exposure disrupts development, elevates overall mutation frequency cells Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). We observed pristine elicit apoptosis a greater extent than 60-day aged By treating parental worms with for seven successive generations, whole-genome sequencing data revealed that, although point mutations kept unchanged, large deletions significantly increased F8 worms. Furthermore, found might be partially attributed release Zn2+ ions. Together, our results demonstrate genotoxic effects possible underlying mechanism. These findings suggest worthy consideration risk engineered
