Abstract A high throughput quantification multi-residues method for the simultaneous detection of 39 pesticides and veterinary drugs in aquaculture products were developed by using Ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) with modified QuEChERS (quick、easy、cheap、effective、rugged、safe). In order balance recovery efficiency, several parameters optimized, including extracting, clarification, purification. Chromatographic conditions optimized given run time < 13 min. Six representative matrices (muscle tissues yellow croaker, pomfret, shrimp, white shell, flower razor clam) show applicability all target analytes showed recoveries (60.3%~119.0%) acceptable precision (4.3%~20.8%). Furthermore, limits (LODs) (LOQs) range 1.0 ~ 5.0 µg/kg 3.0 10.0 µg/kg, respectively, that providing a practical safety internal risk controlling aquaculture.

Antibiotics are widely used in commercial fish farms Bangladesh for therapeutic and prophylactic purpose, raising concerns about antimicrobial resistance (AMR) environmental contamination. This study Thin Layer Chromatography to detect residues four commercially available species- Tilapia ( Oreochromis aureus ), Stinging catfish Heteropneustes fossilis Climbing perch Anabas testudineus Pabda Ompok pabda )—with 100 samples per species. Ultra High-Performance Liquid quantified a subset of 25 The prevalence Ciprofloxacin, Oxytetracycline, Chlortetracycline varied significantly among species, with the highest observed Ciprofloxacin (42%), Oxytetracycline (41%), (49%). Additionally, Levofloxacin differed by sampling location, levels found Jhawtala market, 27.5% 53.8% Chlortetracycline. Furthermore, residue concentrations were Enrofloxacin (69.32 µg/Kg) (88.73 µg/Kg). Hazard Quotient (HQ) was (0.480), followed (0.460), (0.420), (0.387). While HQ values below 1.0, indicating no immediate toxicological risk, raise public health due chance potential AMR development. Further research is needed on bioaccumulation, indirect exposure sources, contamination, aquaculture wild fish.

Intensive aquaculture combatting the decline of large yellow croaker populations can trigger bacterial outbreaks, resulting in extensive antibiotic use. In this study, we screened 5 sites coastal areas Zhejiang and identified 17 antibiotics croakers using UPLC-MS/MS. The distribution occurrence pollutants were different tissues croakers, being primarily dominated by quinolones. Relatively higher average residue levels enrofloxacin ciprofloxacin detected inedible parts, specifically gills (37.29 μg/kg). Meanwhile, relatively high also found edible particularly muscle (23.18 We observed that swim bladder exceeded prescribed limit for fish muscle, but there is currently no specific regulatory established particular tissue. Despite HI values below 0.01, health risks should not be disregarded. findings research provide significant practical implications assessing contamination enhancing risk management regions.

In Ghana, Nile tilapia is one of the most commonly cultivated fish species. Bacterial infections, which mostly occur in intensive farming, are considered to be significant health issue facing these culture systems Ghana's aquaculture industry. To prevent, and treat bacterial infections promote growth, antimicrobials often used, cases at unregulated doses. However, this misuse neglect withdrawal durations for such may result drug residues showing up edible tissue, posing a risk human consumers. evaluate consumers, study screened antibiotic popular sold retail outlet Tema. Using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC/MS/MS), analysed levels 12 antibiotics present 24 samples Erythromycin, tetracycline, oxytetracycline, amoxicillin were detected varying levels, with frequencies 20.8 %, 62.5 58.3 54.2 respectively. The highest concentration 3.521 ± 0.32 μg/kg was found while erythromycin had lowest (0.276 0.11 μg/kg) samples. According study, sampled lower than maximum residue limits (MRL) recommended by WHO. Additionally, both hazard quotient (HQ) index (HI) values less one. Therefore, consuming farmed purchased from commercial Tema metropolis deemed pose no health. regular monitoring other contaminants necessary minimise their potential impacts on

The surging global demand for fish has increased aquaculture practices, where antibiotics have become indispensable to prevent diseases. However, the passive incorporation of these compounds into diet may adverse effects on human health. In this work, QuEChERS method combined with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry was applied determination 10 multiclass (5 quinolones, 2 sulfonamides, diaminopyrimidines, and 1 macrolide) in muscle tissue farmed (European sea bass gilt-head bream). demonstrated acceptable recovery values, mostly between 70 120%, limits quantification meeting established EU maximum residue limits. analysis twenty samples duplicate revealed that most were not present, only exception oxolinic acid tilmicosin European bass, which below limit method.
