Abstract The advancement of nanotechnology has produced a huge potential to prepare highly sensitive and portable sensors with low cost energy consumption. Here, comprehensive review the recent development two‐dimensional nanomaterials for gas is presented. Emerging kinds nanomaterials‐based high surface‐to‐volume ratio porous nanostructures are considered superior adsorption molecules, various gases have been discussed in this review. In addition, strategies that can enhance sensor performance by design synthesis also elaborated novel sensing technology. Finally, current challenges summarized future perspectives suggested.

Metalation of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) has been developed as a prominent strategy for materials functionalization pore chemistry modulation and property optimization. By introducing exotic metal ions/complexes/nanoparticles onto/into the parent framework, many metallized MOFs have exhibited significantly improved performance in wide range applications. In this review, we focus on research progress metalation during last five years, spanning design principles, synthetic strategies, potential Based crystal engineering minor change MOF composition through would lead to leveraged variation properties. This review starts from general strategies established incorporation species within MOFs, followed by principles graft desired functionality while maintaining porosity frameworks. Facile contributed great number bespoke with excellent performance, summarize their applications gas adsorption separation, heterogeneous catalysis, detection sensing, energy storage conversion. The underlying mechanisms are also investigated state-of-the-art techniques analyzed gaining insight into structure-property relationships, which turn facilitate further development principles. Abstract Carbon‐based nanozymes have received considerable attention due to their superior biosafety, enhanced tolerance extreme conditions, and ease of chemical modification. However, limited material diversity unconfirmed molecular structure, carbon‐based face challenges such as relatively low enzyme activity unclear catalytic mechanisms. The development materials with well‐defined structures controllable properties is crucial for promoting the rapid progress nanozymes. Herein, 3,4,9,10‐perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride (PD) exhibits both glucose oxidase (GOx)‐like catalase (CAT)‐like activities, which may be fact that PD possesses features highly conjugated structure high electron mobility. In addition, it demonstrated enzymatic related degree aggregation via characterization its morphology size. Based on excellent GOx‐like CAT‐like activities PD, a self‐cascade system constructed application in biofuel cells (BFCs). It worth mentioning BFC still maintains stability after working 30 days. Therefore, this study expands enzyme‐like systems discovers nanomaterials mobility can mimic enzymes. Additionally, multi‐enzyme are utilized construct systems, effectively improve performance BFCs.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are novel inorganic-organic hybridized crystals with a wide range of applications. In the last twenty years, fluorescence sensing based on MOFs has attracted much attention. can exhibit luminescence from metal nodes, ligands or introduced guests, which provides an excellent response in sensing. However, single-signal emitting susceptible to interference concentration, environment, and excitation intensity, resulting poor accuracy. To overcome shortcomings, dual-emission MOF-based ratiometric sensors have been proposed rapidly developed. this review, we first introduce mechanisms, synthetic methods, detection mechanisms MOFs, highlight strategies for constructing classify them into three categories: intrinsic single-emission luminescent non-emission other materials. Then, summarize recent advances various analytical industries. Finally, discuss current challenges prospects future development these sensors.

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are a versatile category of porous coordination polymers which can be differentiated from other nanomaterials due to their fascinating properties such as adaptable surface chemistry, tuneable functionalities, and exceedingly large area uniform/controllable pore size. This newly emerging family materials with extraordinary attributes has generated strong research interest, making pristine MOFs MOF based hybrids potential platform for diverse range applications. However, inferior electrical conductivities poor chemical stabilities in aqueous solutions have narrowed MOF's application base. Metal-organic framework composites have the advantages of large surface area, high porosity, strong catalytic efficiency and good stability, which provide a great possibility finding excellent electrode materials for electrochemical sensors.
