Sensitive, accurate, and reliable detection of explosives has become one the major needs for international security environmental protection. Colloidal quantum dots, because their unique chemical, optical, electrical properties, as well easy synthesis route functionalization, have demonstrated high potential to meet requirements development suitable sensors, boosting research in field explosive detection. The development of reliable probe technology for the detection bisulfite (HSO3-) in situ food and biological samples is contributing significantly to quality safety assurance as well community health. In this work, a responsive probe, EHDI, developed ratiometric fluorescence HSO3- aqueous solution, meat samples, living cells. designed based on triggered 1,4-addition electron deficit C = bond EHDI.
