Wastewater-based
epidemiology
(WBE)
has
become
an
invaluable
tool
for
tracking
the
evolution
of
use
or
exposure
of/to
numerous
substances.
Bisphenols,
commonly
utilized
in
manufacturing
plastic
goods,
have
been
categorized
as
endocrine
disrupting
chemicals,
underscoring
critical
need
real-time
data
on
their
local-level
to
safeguard
public
health.
In
this
study,
we
developed
a
novel
analytical
method
and
WBE
framework
assessment
population-level
bisphenol
A
(BPA)
its
most
prominent
substitutes,
bisphenols
F
S
(BPF
BPS),
through
determination
Phase
II
metabolites
wastewater
by
WBE.
Stability
exclusivity
tests
denoted
that
glucuronides
are
not
stable
sewage,
whereas
sulfate
good
biomarkers.
Therefore,
solid-phase
extraction
followed
liquid
chromatography-tandem
mass
spectrometry
was
bisphenols'
monosulfates
BPA
bissulfate.
The
validated
with
three
different
matrices,
