Improving the performance of operations ride-hailing platforms (RHPs) by adequately considering drivers’ switching behaviors is becoming crucial for their profitability and sustainability. This study explores how to optimize RHPs investigating impact commission rates on in a dynamic mobility market. Two queue-theory-based mathematical models have been developed explore relationship between rates, behaviors, critical platform parameters optimizing RHPs. Numerical examples are presented demonstrate applicability such determining best rate duopoly fully competitive market conditions. The findings suggest that understanding intricate significant formulating appropriate strategies policies ensure sustainable operations.
