Abstract Systematic literature reviews (SLRs) have become a standard tool in many fields of management research but are often considerably less stringently presented than other pieces research. The resulting lack replicability the and conclusions has spurred vital debate on SLR process, related guidance is scattered across number core references overly centered design conduct SLR, while failing to guide researchers crafting presenting their findings an impactful way. This paper offers integrative review widely applied most recent guidelines domain. adopts well-established six-step process refines it by sub-dividing steps into 14 distinct decisions: (1) from question, via (2) characteristics primary studies, (3) retrieving sample relevant literature, which then (4) selected (5) synthesized so that, finally (6), results can be reported. Guided these decisions, prior critically reviewed, gaps identified, synthesis offered. elaborates mainly pointing reader toward available guidelines. thereby avoids reproducing existing enriches it. 6 decisions provide methodological, theoretical, practical along exemplifying them best-practice examples revealing temporal sequence main interrelations. guides designing, executing, publishing theory-based impact-oriented SLR.

Digital transformation plays a key role in improving information sharing and processing supply chains. Specifically, maritime chains require numerous data document exchanges can significantly benefit from digital (DIS). This notable potential has attracted attention resulted growing number of studies on blockchain platforms, cloud-based other technology platforms. However, DIS adoption execution is complex process as it depends various success factors barriers affects capabilities performance outcomes. Moreover, systems management theories be utilised to underpin these relationships. Our study aims conduct systematic literature review that uncovers dynamic capabilities, barriers, enablers outcomes with illustrates the relationship between them, discloses methods applied We discuss different use cases platforms for business functions Particularly, we reveal six DIS-powered five improved by DIS, eight main nine implementation. The lack theoretical underpinning causal empirical identified an important gap literature. also presents precise future research directions help address gaps.

Abstract Globally, firms face increasing pressure to efficiently utilize resources and minimize costs may do so through sustainable supply chains circular economy practices. Emerging technologies, such as blockchain, enable a have become new industrial paradigm. However, require building dynamic capabilities which can be key realizing model. This study introduces framework for blockchain‐driven chain. We further use the Decision Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method evaluate three major 18 sub‐dynamic their interrelationships. The mining industry in Ghana sets stage this analysis. results show that although sensing capability, seizing reconfiguring capability are crucial developing chain, they not strictly follow sequence overlap. highlight various cause–effect relationships, providing insights into role of sensing, seizing, capabilities. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), unique digital assets on a blockchain that can represent ownership of or physical items, are potentially ground-breaking in their capacity for transforming the sustainability supply chains. This paper explores and discusses how NFTs, analysed through lens Technology Organisation Environment (TOE) framework, drive chain overcome barriers to Blockchain (BCT) adoption. We elucidate value proposition NFTs explore potential 'phygital products' linking goods. Based existing literature review real-world case studies, we propose (1) incentivise stakeholders engage more sustainable practices; (2) enhance customer willingness pay products; (3) provide anti-counterfeit measures; (4) support circular business model growth. A 'Mint-to-Order' production strategy starting with creation (minting) an NFT is proposed based synthesis findings. The use has significant implications both product offerings management (SSCM) practice making compelling one first using chains forming essential component metaverse nexus delineating future research agenda.

Purpose Although blockchain technology holds significant promise in influencing supply chain resilience (SCR), its effectiveness depends on a variety of factors. However, given that adoption SCR is still infancy, there lack empirical research to reveal the critical success factors maximizing efficacy. This study aims apply an organizational information processing theory (OIPT) perspective explore how transformational leadership (TSCL) can facilitate deployment and connection meet imperatives enhancing SCR. Design/methodology/approach used two-wave survey method gather data from 317 Chinese manufacturers empirically examine hypothesized relationships. Findings The findings suggest enhances both proactive reactive dimensions SCR, these effects be realized through mediating role TSCL. Furthermore, positive effect TSCL strengthened context dysfunctional competition. Practical implications These companies only enhance benefits disruptive technologies, such as blockchain, by fully integrating them into operational processes. Originality/value offers novel insights specific processes It also deepens our comprehension digital optimally harnessed within framework OIPT, thus providing contribution literature emerging technologies
