Climate change is a significant and urgent threat, gaining traction in the scientific community around globe requiring immediate action across many sectors. In this context, digital economy could provide mutually beneficial solution by utilizing innovation technical breakthroughs to establish sustainable future that addresses environmental deterioration, promotes economic growth, encourages energy conservation. Against background, study examined diffusion of modeling-based factors affecting small medium-sized firms’ (SMFs) adoption Internet Things (IoT) technology its impact on SMFs’ sustainability performance related environmental, economic, innovation, conservation perspectives. The key findings revealed (i) relative advantage, trialability, observability drive IoT adoption. However, compatibility complexity hinder (ii) When prioritizing factors, benefit strongest driver, most barrier (iii) adopter SMFs spent less natural resources more renewable monitoring systems than non-adopter firms, boosting their sustainability. (iv) firms had greater revenue, profits, credit access non-adopters lower input costs, improving (v) innovative products enterprises, demonstrating performance. (vi) Compared utility expenses energy-efficient technologies. (vii) To realize full potential for inventive future, authorities may pursue variety policy actions involving strengthening implementation standards regulations, securing incentivization financial SMFs, diverting allocation research development avenues, capacity awareness, focusing infrastructure development.

Management Decision, Год журнала: 2025, Номер unknown

Опубликована: Март 27, 2025

Purpose This study aims to explore the impact of enterprise blockchain capabilities (BCC) on inter-enterprise collaboration, supply chain resilience and innovation further reveal key role technology (BCT) in management (SCM). Design/methodology/approach 606 enterprises were investigated. AMOS structural equation model combined with artificial neural network (ANN) was used analyze mechanism capability between collaboration (joint knowledge creation, communication, coordination, resource sharing) flexibility (SCF) innovation, moderating BCC also discussed. Findings Blockchain competency significantly improves efficiency enterprises, thereby enhancing (SC), while improving transparency traceability SCM. In addition, plays an important SC performance (flexibility vs innovation). Originality/value Combines ANN analysis methods for first time, systematically verifies BCC, expands research scope resource-based theory (RBT) dynamic (DCT) provides a new theoretical framework empirical support (SCC) application research.

Purpose This study aims to analyze antecedents of blockchain technology adoption (BCTA) based on a technological–organisational–environment (TOE) framework and the performance outcomes such adoption. The authors further examine moderating effect institutional environment (developed versus developing economies) above relationship. Design/methodology/approach Using structural equation modeling, research model using sample 255 responses from supply chain practitioners across nations. findings indicate: (a) technological (technological compatibility), organizational [organizational readiness (OR)] environmental [mimetic pressure coercive (CP)] factors enhance BCTA; (b) BCTA reduces operational costs (c) intriguing differences in relationships exist between firms located developed economies. Findings result indicates that OR affects economies, not while CPs drive only Practical implications highlights contextual nuances economies but is limited by its cross-sectional design uneven representation insights help assess opportunities drivers associated with Originality/value uniquely integrates TOE theory reveal impact macro-institutional outcomes.

Purpose Efficiency in public administration is critical for scalable, sustainable and responsive governance, yet its relationship with employee satisfaction remains understudied. This research aims to investigate how factors such as processing time, resource utilization service accessibility influence operational effectiveness, Human-AI collaboration (HAIC) serving a moderating factor. Design/methodology/approach Grounded the resource-based view (RBV), this adopts partial least squares structural equation modeling necessary condition analysis (NCA) analyze data from 616 Indonesian Government employees actively using AI-enabled tools. Findings The findings show that time significantly boost whereas has limited impact. Operational effectiveness emerges key determinant of job satisfaction. HAIC strengthens impact efficiency on outcomes. NCA identifies essential satisfaction, emphasizing need address alignment challenges. Originality/value study extends RBV by framing AI-driven within employee-focused models, highlighting strategic enabler. results provide practical guidance policymakers administrators enhance sector performance while prioritizing well-being.

Digitalisation in logistics has evolved the search for continuous improvement and optimised processes. This study aims to determine effectiveness of digitalisation implemented by companies improve automated cross-border trade agricultural sector. The research methodology was generated through a bibliometric analysis, exploring evolution state art Scopus, WOS Dimensions databases, order select relevant empirical studies on logistics, using quality criteria applying PRISMA flow chart. results highlighted that since 2017, there have been signs increased interest from researchers, with authors such as Zoubek, Kumar Ghobakhloo standing out. review revealed how contributes optimisation costs time chain. Designing public policies allows better integration technologies IoT AI. Three important blocks were identified contributed logistics: impact efficiency supply chain, technological automation governance, social considerations digitalisation. conclusions reached fundamental element improving making it autonomous within trade, allowing technology become integrated reducing obstacles chain digital artificial intelligence (AI).
