Abstract In recent decades, under the influence of technological advancements, evolving student demographics, and shifting societal demands, landscape higher education has undergone significant transformations. Among numerous learning approaches, Flipped Learning (FL) gained particular prominence due to its ability enhance students’ performance through active engagement self-directed learning. Another teaching linked indicators academic achievements is Peer-Assisted (PAL). However, previous research on PAL remains scarce. To fill this gap in literature, effects integration Peer Counseling (PC) activity into both personal development within flipped classroom setting over time were investigated present study. The study participants counseling students ( n = 91), including 60 PAL-integrated 31 traditional used as control group. results revealed that, a 14-week period, led improvement Solution-Focused Thinking (SFT) skills, self-efficacy, effective counselor characteristics, with medium large effect sizes. also indicated positive PC achievement scores. These findings offer important implications for creating collaborative environment. paper concludes discussion challenges typically associated implementation education.

Abstract Online one-on-one tutoring serves as a supplementary approach to traditional classroom instruction. It has been shown enhance personalized learning and academic performance. However, the dynamics of dialogic interactions within this educational setting are not fully understood. Thus, we present computational analysis in online mathematics tutoring. Specifically, devised coding scheme tailored sessions leveraged advanced artificial intelligence techniques construct an automated model for annotating dialog acts. We then investigated basic characteristics interaction patterns dataset encompassing dialogs K-12 education obtained insightful findings. First, tutors were found often apply both didactic other effective teaching strategies. Second, off-task chatting accounted significant proportion sessions. Third, high school students exhibited greater engagement cognitive abilities than primary middle through their more active participation superior reasoning skills. Primary students, despite less participation, responded positively when engaged by tutors. The findings highlight importance optimizing strategies applied create dynamic environment provide valuable insights into nature
