ABSTRACT This study examines the multifaceted impacts of parental support on psychological well‐being, academic resilience and language learning progress among lower‐intermediate‐level learners in China. Employing a parallel mixed‐methods design, research integrates quantitative qualitative approaches to provide comprehensive understanding phenomenon. A purposive sampling strategy was utilised select 30 aged 13–15 from secondary school China, divided into two groups: 15 receiving consistent lacking such due their parents' limited literacy levels. Data were collected through document analysis, classroom observations tests. Thematic analysis applied data, while statistical tests, including independent samples t ‐tests, conducted analyse data. The findings indicate that with exhibited significantly higher levels greater more substantial compared counterparts without support. These results underscore critical role involvement fostering holistic educational emotional development. concludes practical implications for teachers, policymakers parents, emphasising need targeted interventions families promote inclusive practices.

This paper investigates the effects of formative assessment (FA) via artificial intelligence (AI) on EFL students' reading comprehension development, online academic enjoyment, personal best goals (PBGs), and mindfulness. To achieve this, 80 Kuwaiti students were selected through convenience sampling divided into experimental group (EG) control (CG). Pretests conducted to assess initial levels dependent variables. The EG received AI-based instruction Nearpod platform, while CG traditional face-to-face instruction. Both groups taught ten passages, post-tests administered measure progress, PBGs, ANCOVA test results revealed significant differences between CG, with showing superior performance across all measures. These findings suggest that assessments can substantially enhance psychological outcomes, providing valuable insights for instructors material designers. Future research should explore long-term learning tools in diverse educational settings.

ABSTRACT Emotion regulation plays a crucial role in shaping the professional efficacy of English as foreign language (EFL) teachers higher education. Abstract Advancement in learning grammar and using it practically is one of the challenges English as foreign learners (EFL) learners. Its progression may be expedited or slowed down by a variety causes. Among crucial factors, possible effects self-evaluation, teacher support, L2 grit were still untouched which target current research. In so doing, 86 EFL students at intermediate level divided into two groups (i.e., experimental group control group). The (CG) are exposed to normal education, whereas (EG) get extra instruction practice self-evaluation Grit. Moreover, emphasis on teacher’s position facilitator supporter was more prominent EG. Based data screening completed via one-way ANCOVA, EG successful assessment due treatment. Further research avenues educational implications elaborated upon.

This study examines the interplay between academic anxiety, emotional intelligence management, and resilience in Chinese international postgraduate students Thailand. Using a correlational design sample of 353 valid participants, employed Weighted Emotional Intelligence Scale (WEIS), Academic Anxiety (AAS), Resilience Scale-30 (ARS). Contrary to expectations, analysis revealed no significant differences or across demographic cohorts (gender, major, occupation). Weak non-significant correlations were also observed resilience. These findings challenge assumptions about influences on these constructs suggest broader for students. Despite prevalence anxiety deficiencies management resilience, not influenced by factors. Assessment plays a vital role in English language learning as it helps students recognize their weak and strong points. Two main types of assessment are dynamic (DA) static (SA) that effects have not been examined on Iraqi EFL students' resilience, burnout, positive orientation (PO), academic achievement yet. Therefore, this research aims to close gap. To do so, sixty intermediate were selected divided into DA SA groups so. The two then given pretests the four dependent variables. Subsequently, one group was taught ten reading literary texts with 100 new words using DA, whereas other identical materials SA. After 8-week course, both took post-tests PO, performance. study's findings showed did better than post-tests.
