Abstract In pursuit of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), nations are growing more conscious importance implementing SDGs and adopting various tools frameworks to advance environmental human development. Current study aims investigate impacts airport ground operations through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) was conducted on three different Ground Power Units (GPU) namely, diesel, biodiesel, electric-powered by a system boundary cradle-to-gate, using SimaPro version 9.4 software adopted CML Baseline V3.09 EU25 characterization model. Results show that highest impact caused diesel-powered GPU, followed biodiesel-powered GPU. At same time, GPU contributed lower in comparison. The Abiotic Depletion (AD) respective manner (in kg Sb eq, 0.196, 0.196 0.162), global warming (kg CO2 eq 1142, 1130 1044), Ozone Potential (ODP) CFC-11 0.0003, 0.0001 0.0001), Human Toxicity (HTP) 1,4-DB 516.49, 510.96 549.29), Freshwater Aquatic Ecotoxicity 441.56, 463.22 605.91), Terrestrial 2.74, 2.31 2.35), Photochemical Oxidation C2H4 0.609, 0.70 0.545), Acidification SO2 11.01, 11.23 10.11) Eutrophication PO4 3.432, 3.459 3.2311). Batteries, aluminium, wheel rims, synthetic rubber were main contributors these impacts. It concluded lead-ion batteries good replacement lithium-ion due their impact. Similarly, switching stationary GPUs rather than mobile, can contribute lowering as rims mobile overall operations.

With the increase in global environmental pollution, it is important to understand concentration characteristics and correlations with other pollutants of atmospheric particulate matter as affected by relevant policies. The complex air environment makes it urgent to build good and safe indoor environments, the study application of new materials have become focus current research. In this study, we tested analyzed structural parameters filtration performances four most commonly used filter in market. results showed that all a trend first increasing then decreasing their efficiency with an increase velocity. was as follows: PTFE > glass fiber nanomaterial electret. reached its maximum when velocity 0.2 m/s. for PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 higher than other three materials, values 0.87% 24.93%, 1.21% 18.69%, 0.56% 16.03%, respectively. more effective capturing particles smaller 1.0 μm. Within testing range, resistance electret nanomaterial, fitting effect. It is also necessary match during use, well effectiveness blocking microorganisms absorbing toxic gases. Overall, best comprehensive performance, providing data support selection related or synthesis research future.

Indoor environment quality is currently a hot research topic. In this study, composite air filter materials were synthesized using different impregnated porous medium materials, and their filtration performance structural parameters analyzed. The results showed that materials' structures changed at the fibers' surfaces when material layers. efficiency of media reached maximum 0.8 m/s velocity, PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 increased by 1.67~26.07, 1.19~26.96, 1.10~21.98%, respectively. efficiencies reduced graphene oxide for 21.26, 20.22, 18.50% higher, respectively, than those carbon black composite. addition, reducing improved 0 to 1.0 μm particulates was more effective comparison. Filtration resistance comprehensively considered during use provide useful values selection preparation in future.

Oxygenated (CHO) and nitrogenous (CHON) organic aerosols (OA) are important components of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in urban environments. To achieve a molecular-level understanding the seasonal variation OA fraction, ambient PM2.5 samples collected from April 2018 to March 2019 Xi'an, Northwest China, were analyzed using an iodide Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer combined with Filter Inlet for Gases AEROsols (FIGAERO–CIMS). The set compounds identified by FIGAERO–CIMS was estimated represent 28.6% PM2.5. Evaporation temperatures measured indicated that semivolatile (SVOCs) dominant among analytes. Concentrations CHO (6.01 ± 4.24 μg m–3) CHON (3.17 2.34 increased winter, especially during severe haze episode January 2019. comprised up 75.3 3.2% total detected compounds. average carbon oxidation state (OSC¯) slightly elevated summer samples. mainly nitro-aromatics their abundance substantially which attributed extensive biomass burning demonstrated high levels levoglucosan. Biomass-burning related sources accounted 61.0 19.6% 68.3 21.9% concentration autumn respectively, while secondary formation source species spring (70.1 11.6%) (79.8 7.0%). With the increasing popularity of fresh-air filtration systems, methods determining outdoor PM2.5 design concentration have become more important. However, monitoring atmospheric fine particles in China started relatively late, and there are few cities with complete data, obvious regional differences, which led to many problems selection air filters for systems. Clarifying the spatiotemporal distribution and impact mechanism of pollution is prerequisite for megacities to formulate relevant air prevention control measures achieve carbon neutrality goals. Chongqing one dual-core key in Cheng-Yu region as a typical mountain-city China, environmental problems are complex sensitive. This research aims investigate exceeding standard levels spatio-temporal evolution criteria pollutants between 2014 2020. The results indicated that PM10, PM2.5, CO SO2 were decreased significantly by 45.91%, 52.86%, 38.89% 66.67%, respectively.
