With ongoing climate change, new threats appear to the operation of water supply systems (WSSs), which are related amount available drinking resources, its quality, existing infrastructure and changes in consumer behavior. Water pipe failures result in real water losses the form of outflowing into porous medium, such as surrounding soil. Such an outflow may creation suffosion holes. The appropriate management supply network contribute to reducing number failures, but due their random nature, it is not possible completely eliminate them. Therefore, alternative solutions are being sought reduce effects failures.
