Access to reliable, affordable, sustainable, and modern energy, along with the empowerment increased participation of women in decision-making politics, are fundamental achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by United Nations (UN). The UN accentuates critical role politics for successful attainment SDGs. This study delves into this aspect investigating impact female political representation on access electricity. Additionally, examines influence government efficiency, foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, urbanization, economic growth Nigeria, utilizing data spanning from 2003Q1 2021Q4. Employing advanced econometric techniques such as wavelet quantile regression, correlation, quantile-on-quantile Granger causality analysis, our analysis reveals noteworthy insights. Our findings reveal a correlation between heightened decreased electricity Nigeria. we note beneficial impacts growth, governmental efficiency accessibility Furthermore, highlights predictive capabilities representation, FDI, regarding Drawing insights gleaned study, have crafted substantial policy recommendations designed tackle identified challenges promote advancements both women's engagement.

Abstract The excessive use of non-renewable energy in 21st-century economic growth has continued to hurt the environment by accumulating carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. However, promoting environmental sustainability requires expanding clean utilisation. In this study, we examine effects expansion natural resource extraction on load capacity factor (LCF) China from 1970 2018. Using dynamic autoregressive distributed lag simulations approach, extend standard curve (LCC) hypothesis incorporating as main determinants LCF. empirical outcomes reveal that is, although positively associated with LCF, but its squared term degrades This confirms LCC is not valid for China. Moreover, while a positive effect negative. These are stronger statistically significant only long run. Therefore, study highlights potentials sustainable decarbonized economy investing sources also efficiently available resources country.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of environmental and economic factors on carbon emissions (CAR) in China from 2007 to 2020, considering Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. We employ MM‐QR approach analyze asymmetric relationships between Green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP), Fiscal Expenditure Technology (FTE), Innovation (GTI), Level (INN), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Human Capital (HC), (CAR). Findings reveal that GTFP, FTE, GTI, INN exert significant negative impacts cCAR, with these effects strengthening at higher quantiles. suggests advancements green technology fiscal policies promoting technologies contribute reduced emissions. Conversely, GDP exhibits a positive association CAR, potentially reflecting initial stages EKC. 2 is also positively associated, indicating potential turning point towards degradation income levels. Based results, proposes policy recommendations enhance ecological well‐being achieve net‐zero These include fostering human capital development for skilled labor sectors, adoption technologies, increasing expenditure research (R&D). contributes field management by providing empirical evidence effectiveness technological reducing The findings offer valuable insights policymakers aiming sustainable similar economies.

Abstract Due to the ongoing challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation, developing nations are pursuing initiatives mitigate carbon emissions at net zero achieve sustainability objectives. To attain these objectives, it is necessary shift from conventional energy sources green sources. This research paper examines dynamic role of market pricing in sustainable pathways for attaining net-zero South Asian countries including India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh. The study utilizes Autoregressive Distributed Lag simulations (DARDLS) technique panel data spanning 1990 2018. findings reveal a positive correlation between development short run, with reverse effects long run. Furthermore, there an inverse relationship prices, emissions, which strengthens over time. Based on results, suggests that Asia region especially susceptible impacts change. Therefore, governments should consider implementing favourable policies support development, providing financial assistance, offering subsidies technology, reducing tariffs, establishing strong frameworks government regulations.
