Community gardens (CGs) are perceived by different groups of people as important providers a wide range ecosystem services (ES). The aim this paper is to find out whether and how perception differs. What the difference between ES provided specific CG urban green spaces in general, perceptions members non-members differ. based on three surveys including users from all over Czechia, well neighbourhood two CGs Prague smaller Czech city. used case studies article positively surrounding areas. emphasis within benefits was not only production cultural services. Physical exercise and social activities play a role of primary importance in the prevention diseases maintaining functional abilities old age, nevertheless, regular habit is considered challenge during aging process. Motivation to start maintain physical activity an essential factor. In case older people, promoting by means intrinsically pleasurable preferable programs based on health improvements. From this perspective, our study aimed understand if preventative interventions combining activity, self-efficacy, participation context natural environment might be help increasing level activity. The sample was composed 95 subjects, which 40 were excluded because declared already engaged at baseline. Considering final 55 subjects with low or no baseline, 21 (38.2%) improved intensity their follow-up. They younger (52.4% age >=70 vs 82.4; p=0.017), mostly women (85.7% 58.8%; p = 0.036), had higher balance test score respect others (3.6 ± 0.7 2.8 1.0; p=0.005). Results should able strengthen concept that having good conditions, such as balance, facilitates path for greater improvements better quality life among adults. Balance issues may cause fear falling psychological difficulties have limited effects programme.
