Urban waterfront public space is a key infrastructure for enhancing citizens’ well-being. However, rapid urbanization squeezes out blue and green spaces in cities, extreme weather challenges exist winter resulting unmet needs significant decline satisfaction. There an urgent need to optimize design bridge the gap between supply demand. This study proposes workflow optimizing of cities based on KANO-IPA model from perspective users’ demands. We constructed systematic comprehensive set spatial demand indicators covering seven dimensions 42 indicators. A satisfaction survey was conducted across 12 sample reaches northeastern China. used KANO classify attributes indicators, then applied IPA analysis evaluate them, finally calculated priority indices quantify their sequences. Based this, we proposed three-phase optimization strategies: near-term upgrading, medium-term steady promotion, far-term charm enhancement, offering recommendations improving cities. provides long-term support urban regeneration, resource management,

Abstract A substantial body of research has linked the built environment to obesity risk in older adults, with physical activity reducing risk. Most studies have focused on temperate and subtropical regions; however, results can vary due different climate characteristics. This study examines Lanzhou, a representative arid Northwestern China, explore nonlinear relationship between among focusing role green spaces. By using XGBoost method, we analyze how spaces 5D affect levels obese standard‐weight elderly populations Lanzhou. Results indicate that significantly influence both groups, their effect surpassing other environmental sociodemographic factors. Obese individuals are more influenced by space quality accessibility, while affected overall quantity coverage also rely street greening compared counterparts. In addition, diverse urban appropriate public transportation distances crucial for promoting elderly. Low temperatures inhibit individuals. Our findings provide insights policymakers, planners, designers optimizing infrastructure reduce risks regions, ultimately enhancing environment's effectiveness healthy aging.
