The huge amount of energy generated by cavitation in liquids can be used to achieve more ecologically friendly and efficient removal algae. Jet pumps readily induce owing their tapering section structure thus have the potential as jet reactors (JCRs) hydrodynamic algal under suitable pressure conditions.
