Abstract
Background
Preprints
are
scientific
articles
that
have
not
undergone
the
peer-review
process.
They
allow
latest
evidence
to
be
rapidly
shared,
however
it
is
unclear
whether
they
can
confidently
used
for
decision-making
during
a
public
health
emergency.
This
study
aimed
compare
data
and
quality
of
preprints
released
first
four
months
2022
mpox
outbreak
their
published
versions.
Methods
Eligible

Monkeypox
(Mpox)
is
a
growing
public
health
concern,
with
complex
interactions
within
host
systems
contributing
to
its
impact.
This
study
employs
multi-omics
approaches
uncover

Mpox
is
a
zoonotic
infectious
disease
caused
by
the
mpox
virus
(MPXV).
Historically,
majority

cases
have
been
documented
in
Central
Africa.
