Indonesia has the second-highest level of ocean plastic pollution. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic, used in food and beverage packaging, is most accessible for recycling. Recycling PET waste can address issue management support a circular economy, while protecting environment. However, consumer participation crucial maintaining recycling programs. In this study, we determined driving forces customer with respect to post-consumption waste. The Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) was understand factors that motivate consumers' intentions. We conducted survey assess behavior related usage (with 294 respondents), using questionnaire; analyze results, structural equation model partial least squares (SEM-PLS). attitudes, moral norms, consequence awareness consumers significantly affected their Perceived subjective norms did not affect desire. Indonesia, after consumption primarily involves disposal. This study improves understanding help businesses governments implement strategies encourage return goods. addition, enriches literature on reverse logistics from perspective.

Agricultural non-point source pollution (ANPSP) has caused serious harm to farmland ecological environment, and become an urgent environmental issue in China. This paper investigates the intention actual implementation of farmers' green agricultural production behaviors (GAPBs) Yunnan, The results show that 80% farmers are willing implement GAPBs for improving but a large number them have not implemented at present. In addition, this study integrates normative activation theory with planned behavior empirically analyze driving factors behaviors. direct positive impact personal norms on is significant. Awareness consequences awareness responsibility indirect impacts through norms. Meanwhile, attitude significant behavioral intention. consequences, perceived control, subjective effects attitude. Besides, there differences influencing between Han ethnic minorities. helpful increase provides reference management ANPSP.

Effective waste separation at the source is vital for sustainable management globally. However, motivating people to participate in can be challenging, especially developing countries' megacities, where rapid urbanization and surging solid trends are prevalent. A survey conducted Bangkok, Thailand, provides valuable insights into factors that encourage among individuals from diverse backgrounds. The study involved 456 respondents, an effect size of 0.35, a 95% confidence level, 5% margin error. sample groups were divided four modules based on their lifestyles analysed intention behaviour using extended theory planned structural equation model. results showed attitude critical fundamental factor influencing intention, while trust recycling system most significant behaviour. Furthermore, each module differ, highlighting need specific strategies promote with megacities. These findings immense value confidently used by governors or policymakers worldwide combat challenges.

Plastic waste is choking our planet, but the recycling rate still universally low. Understanding factors affecting behaviours can help address this pressing issue. Taking Dhaka as an example, study explores determinants of intentions to recycle plastic waste. We employed Theory Planned Behaviour (TPB) and extended it with two additional variables: Moral Norms, Perceived sufficiency knowledge policy support. Survey data 577 were collected analysed using PLS-SEM. The findings suggest attitude, perceived behavioural control, moral norms subjective significantly impact intention, among which (β = 0.148, p < 0.05) acts even more strongly than 0.12, 0.05). Moreover, low level perception support makes people perceive less control over behaviour 0.188, 0.05), actually reinforce their intention −0.091, 0.1). This enriches theoretical discussion TPB, contributes efforts encouraging in populated megacity emerging economy.

Waste sorting is a practical way of handling the garbage and an effective strategy for facilitating sustainable waste management. This research extended theory planned behavior (TPB) with self-identity moral norms to predict intentions in heritage context tourism. A total 403 valid self-administrated questionnaires were achieved at destination China. The results indicated that: (1) TPB variables (i.e., attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control), self-identity, all directly positively linked tourists' intentions, respectively; (2) indirectly influenced through mediation norms; (3) integrated model exhibited better predictive utility than any single model. contributes literature on management tourism by extending identity personal normative constructs. It also provides implications managers leverage
