The discharge of lead and cadmium wastewater, along with the pollution caused by phosphogypsum, represents a particularly urgent environmental issue. Herein, a ball-milled composite mineral derived from shell powder and phosphate rock (BSPR) was innovatively coupled with smooth vetch (SV) planting to remediate Cd-polluted soil. The results showed that BSPR SV could reduce the bioavailability of Cd in soil by 68.1%, which 2.2 3.4 times those (31.1%) (20.0%) alone, respectively. outstanding passivation performance confirmed be due synergistic effect SV. Currently, the cement industry stands as one of sectors with most significant environmental impact, primarily due to its substantial greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. To mitigate this a roadmap has been followed in recent years, outlining set objectives aimed at diminishing footprint construction industry. This research focuses on development mortars different water/cement ratio employing an alternative cement, specifically magnesium phosphate (MPC) formulated secondary sources.
