Endometriosis is a chronic, inflammatory condition where endometrial-like tissue grows outside the uterus, affecting around 10% of women reproductive age. This associated with debilitating symptoms, including dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, chronic pelvic pain, fatigue, and infertility. Adolescents endometriosis face unique challenges, as disease often misdiagnosed or undiagnosed for an average 7-10 years due to its complex multifactorial nature. Consequently, patients frequently suffer from worsening symptoms significant psychological distress, anxiety, depression, social withdrawal. While there no definitive cure endometriosis, treatment approaches typically involve hormonal therapies, lifestyle adjustments (such diet exercise), support. Recent studies emphasize profound impact on mental health adolescents, highlighting need more holistic approach that integrates both medical care. narrative review explores psychosocial effects in examining biological mechanisms linking outcomes. It also discusses current therapeutic strategies, such cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, peer support, underscores importance early diagnosis multidisciplinary care mitigate physical emotional burdens condition. integrated critical improving overall well-being quality life adolescents living endometriosis.

Introduction Early pregnancy care involves the screening and identification of women with risk factors for adverse outcomes, including stillbirth or preterm birth, to tailor interventions accordingly. Most stillbirths approximately two-thirds births, however, occur in absence evident factors. The majority period, yet there are few targeting this progress reduce rates remains slow. Placental dysfunction is a major contributor stillbirth, particularly, stillbirth. Here, endometrial environment may shed light on that influence placental development trajectory pregnancy. Menstrual symptoms abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) can indicate disorders, which associated infertility outcomes. Whether AUB outcomes diagnosed pathology, unknown. Limited information regarding woman’s menstrual cycle captured routine early assessments, such as last period length. Given latent diagnosis disorders up third all experience during their lifetime, determining association between characteristics has potential uncover new clinical strategies Therefore, study aims understand menstruation identify could provide value assessment tool. The endometrium plays a crucial role in female health. Globally, millions of women are affected by endometrial/uterine disorders, yet the and its gynaecological pathologies have been understudied. Gaining insight into detailed endometrial architecture, gene expression, spatial temporal cellular interactions, microenvironment is essential for understanding physiology pathophysiology this dynamic tissue. current paper highlights latest targets advancing research that include single-cell RNA sequencing, transcriptomics, microbiome, organoid models, analysis menstrual blood less-studied ageing. authors hope summary will provide more novel methods, highlight therapeutics inspire readers to generate fresh ideas future avenues.

Not discounting the important foetal or placental contribution, endometrium is a key determinant of pregnancy outcomes. Given inherently linked processes menstruation, and parturition with endometrium, further understanding menstruation will help to elucidate maternal contribution pregnancy. Endometrial health can be assessed via menstrual history fluid, cyclically shed, easily non-invasively accessible biological sample that represents distinct, heterogeneous composition endometrial environment. Menstrual fluid has been applied study endometriosis, unexplained infertility early loss; however, it yet examined regarding adverse These outcomes, including preeclampsia, growth restriction (FGR), spontaneous preterm birth perinatal death (stillbirth neonatal death), lay on spectrum severity are often attributed dysfunction. The source this dysfunction largely unknown may due underlying abnormalities interactions during placentation. We present existing evidence for outcomes propose more comprehensive provide insight into environment, offering great potential value as diagnostic tool assess risk. As yet, concept hardly explored.
