This
is
a
study
of
the
dynamics
partisan
polarization
in
United
States.
It
has
three
objectives:
(1)
to
identify
and
explain
why
some
Republicans
Democrats
–
but
not
others
have
polarized,
particularly
over
last
twenty
years;
(2)
demonstrate
that
they
done
so
on
this
or
issue
systematically,
programmatically
domain
versus
sorting;
(3)
bring
into
open
profound
asymmetries
between
two
parties,
least
polarized
early
thoroughly
issues
race,
while
largest
number
stayed
neutral
even
conservative
until
only
recently.
Emerging
from
reasoning
results
revised
theory
party
identification
specifies
conditions
under
which
ordinary
can
become
ideological
partisans
real-life
conservatives
