The Body Project (BP) intervention for body image issues is supported by extensive efficacy and effectiveness research, most of which has been conducted in the United States. BP uses cognitive dissonance to help participants critique ideal appearance through written, verbal, behavioral exercises. This reduces internalization ideal, turn decreases dissatisfaction symptoms and, some individuals, onset eating disorders. Although there is considerable evidence showing that the prevention of mental illnesses and adverse outcomes health promotion can help people lead better more functional lives, public overlooked in broader contexts psychiatry health. Likewise, undergraduate postgraduate medical curricula, have often been ignored. Abstract Background Burns constitute a major global health challenge, causing not only physical trauma, but also significant psychosocial and emotional disturbances. The complexity of these injuries requires comprehensive rehabilitation programs that address both the aspects recovery. Despite advances in medical care, there is lack standardized, accessible, sustainable interventions for burn survivors, particularly transition from hospital to home. This study aimed develop evaluate nurse-led empowerment intervention early adjustment among survivors after discharge. Methods adopted quasi-experimental framework. Recent research has shown that women with a positive body image engage in process called protective filtering—whereby they 'filter in' information can promote and protect their image, out' could be harmful. In this study, we investigated two filtering strategies whether mitigate the effects of beauty-ideal media imagery (one particularly pervasive body-image 'threat') on women's image. With the rapid development of society, teenagers have more access to individuals with perfect bodies and are becoming concerned about their body image. Currently, few studies assess image eating disorders comprehensively in China.
