This paper investigates the representation of Chinese language in three prominent Indonesian media outlets Kompas, Metro News, and Kumparan by analyzing reports from period 2020-2023, with “Bahasa Mandarin” (Chinese language) as primary keyword. The study employs a corpus-assisted discourse analysis methodology, incorporating conceptual framework semantic prosody to examine how international dissemination is portrayed media. By conducting two-tier analysis, this research uncovers spreading Indonesia through discourse, particular focus on sentiment based statistical text report corpora. Furthermore, sheds light broader dynamics communication, offering insights into role shaping public perceptions language. It also contributes understanding language's evolving position strategies within Indonesia’s social cultural landscape.

Linguistic expressions of respectful terms are shaped by social status. Previous studies have shown term usage affects online language processing. This study investigates its impact on semantic integration through three self-pace reading experiments, manipulating Respect Consistency (Respect vs. Disrespect) and Semantic (Semantic Consistent Inconsistent).
