Rapid
detection

2,5-dibromoterephthalic
(H2DBrTPA)
cobalt(II)

Metal-organic
frameworks
(MOFs)
are
novel
inorganic-organic
hybridized
crystals
with
a
wide
range
of
applications.
In
the
last
twenty
years,
fluorescence
sensing
based
on
MOFs
has
attracted
much
attention.
can
exhibit
luminescence
from
metal
nodes,
ligands
or
introduced
guests,
which
provides
an
excellent
response
in
sensing.
However,
single-signal
emitting
susceptible
to
interference
concentration,
environment,
and
excitation
intensity,
resulting
poor
accuracy.
To
overcome
shortcomings,
dual-emission
MOF-based
ratiometric
sensors
have
been
proposed
rapidly
developed.
this
review,
we
first
introduce
mechanisms,
synthetic
methods,
detection
mechanisms
MOFs,
highlight
strategies
for
constructing
classify
them
into
three
categories:
intrinsic
single-emission
luminescent
non-emission
other
materials.
Then,
summarize
recent
advances
various
analytical
industries.
Finally,
discuss
current
challenges
prospects
future
development
these
sensors.
