Abstract In response to the growing concerns about unauthorized use of advanced secondary explosives such as TKX‐50 against non‐combatant targets, there is an urgent need for effective detection methods or techniques ensure efficient security screening, homeland security, and public safety. Herein, a new polymeric receptor (IV) derived from functionalized tetraphenylethylene moiety (TPE) 1,3,5‐tris(4‐aminophenyl)benzene (TAPB) moieties through ‘switch ON’ luminescence upon specific binding explosive, reported. The observed ‘luminescence rationalized based on charge transfer complex formation between IV ( K = 1.7 × 10 4 m −1 ). This validated by steady excited‐state studies, along with detailed computational studies. authors’ presumptions are further adequate control studies using appropriate monomeric derivative (III) TPE. Moreover, this can be integrated into smart user‐friendly Internet Things (IoT)‐based prototype device. device effectively convert optical responses digital output develop real‐time in solution. lightweight, portable ideally suited remote surveillance monitoring TKX‐50; examples rare contemporary literature.

2,2′,4,4′,6,6′-hexanitrostilbene (HNS) is a heat-resistant, low-sensitivity energetic material with widespread applications in pliable linear-shaped charges, high-temperature-resistant oil well perforating and rocket propellants. However, the presence of highly toxic mutagenic nitroaromatic compounds HNS wastewater necessitates efficient accurate detection methods. Unfortunately, existing analytical methods for are outdated incompatible modern equipment. This limits their application due to issues range, accuracy, cost. To address this gap, an improved method was developed using Ultimate 3000 UHPLC system methanol water as mobile phase UV-Vis at 271 226 nm wavelengths. The results indicate that optimal conditions achieved methanol-to-water ratio 70:30 flow rate 0.5 mL/min, providing high accuracy efficiency. Compared traditional methods, approach reduced time by nearly 70%, shortest analysis ranging from 6 6.5 min, significantly lowering cost detection. demonstrated excellent linearity (R2 > 0.9999) sensitivity within concentration range 0.50–150.00 mg/L, precise reliable results. work provides both theoretical insights experimental validation wastewater.

ABSTRACT To conduct a comprehensive analysis of the weak interactions among fragments in dihydroxylammonium 5,5′‐bistetrazole‐1,1′‐diolate (TKX‐50) molecular crystal, bis‐tetrazolium fragment was chosen as central interest, analyzing Hirshfeld surfaces, fingerprint plots, dispersion density and independent gradient model based on partition (IGMH) between atoms this other surrounding fragment's theory calculation level PBE/DZVP‐MOLOPT‐GTH, summing up interactional type strength comparing them with that gaseous TKX‐50 molecules. The results revealed range interaction within crystal narrower than molecules, characteristic π⋯π stacking originated from four atom pairs: two pairs C⋯N N⋯N face‐to‐face tetrazole rings. These characteristics principally arise frodm factors: (1) final balance is achieved when more reciprocal are exerted various during process, molecules to crystals. (2) attraction electrons, proposed by stronger electronegativity O bonded fragments, deviation electron rings side eventually forms stacking, demonstrated study.

In this study, we synthesized trifluoromethyl-substituted bis-triazole nitrogen-rich compounds (3–5) using a simple, cost-effective method. The newly made were characterized NMR, IR, elemental analysis, TGA-DSC, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (for 3 4). They demonstrated high density (1.82–1.92 g cm–3), moderate detonation performance (7567–7905 m s–1), good thermal stability (146–215 °C), low sensitivity to impact (40 J) friction (360 N), offering potential nature as cationic component in energetic salts, defense, civilian applications.
