Trimethoxy-(octadecyl)-silane (TODS) was self-assembled on the surface of conductive indium tin oxide (ITO) substrates, and a patterned substrate with distinct hydrophilic hydrophobic regions constructed via deep ultraviolet (UV) light (254 nm) etching. The effect this lipid vesicle (LV) formation investigated by using electroformation. Experimental results demonstrated that fluorescence-labeled LVs exhibited bright dark corresponding to mask design. Specifically, UV-etched areas were hydrophilic, showing high fluorescence intensity dense population LVs. In contrast, unetched coated TODS remained hydrophobic, exhibiting low minimal or no formation. presence substrate, along distribution localization in these regions, systematically analyzed. Additionally, reasons for varying degrees within same region discussed. Through precise modification controlled patterning, it is anticipated localized spatial regulation can be achieved.
