Anthropogenic mercury (Hg) emission inventories are crucial for the effectiveness evaluation of Minamata Convention on Mercury. In this study, we developed an integrated Dynamic Inventory Mercury Emission (DIME) model and improved accuracy estimates primary sources in China. Long-term historical speciated Hg China were established. The total emissions increased from 217.0 t 1980 to 357.8 2020 with a peak value 506.6 2010. Three stages distinct leading drivers identified. At Stage 1 (1980–1997), doubled rapid growth economy; driver was offset by increase dust SO2 control measures at 2 (1997–2010) except cement production; co-benefits strict induced decoupling economy 3 (2010–2020). ultralow (ULE) retrofits key industries had pronounced removal efficiencies. Trace metals from natural and anthropogenic sources impact the atmospheric environment enter soil through dry wet deposition, ultimately affecting human health. In this study, we established an emission inventory of Pb, As, Cr, Cd in East Asia (80° E–140° E, 15° N–50° N) for year 2017, including dust both land marine. We modified Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) model to provide gridded data on concentrations, as well deposition fluxes metals, with a focus mainland China. The emissions were 19,253, 3415, 3332, 9379 tons, respectively, 55%, 69%, 25%, 58% distributed fine mode. spatial distribution concentrations trace was similar that emissions, while precipitation-related further east greater south than north. Abstract Mercury (Hg) is a naturally occurring element that has been greatly enriched in the environment by human activities like mining and fossil fuel combustion. Despite commonalities some carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) Hg emission sources, implications of long‐range climate scenarios for anthropogenic emissions have yet to be explored. Here, we present comprehensive projections extending year 2300 evaluate impacts on global atmospheric deposition. Projections are based four Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) ranging from sustainable reductions resource energy intensity rapid economic growth driven abundant exploitation. There greater than two‐fold difference cumulative between lower‐bound (110 Gg) upper‐bound (235 scenarios. releases land water approximately six times those direct air (600–1,470 Gg). With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in China, civil aviation plays an increasingly important role transportation industry. However, pollutants greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from are becoming concerning environmental problem. In order to mitigate resulting pollution, such as air quality deterioration, regional global climate warming, declining human health, more efforts have been devoted reducing both GHG emissions. Among these efforts, inventories provide a basis for quantifying emissions, establishing evaluation standards impact, formulating management policies improvement change mitigation. this paper, we reviewed compilation approaches data collection methods inventories, introduced several typical calculation analyzed specific cases actual application based on inventory compilation. We also described detail activity level emission index gases. Furthermore, above research methods, four were investigated, including airport, landing takeoff (LTO) cycle nation, entire period with LTO climb–cruise–descent (CCD) phase country, aviation.
