Pesticide
residues
in
agricultural
soils
represent
an
environmental
concern
that
requires
special
attention
due
to
their
potential
ecological
and
public
health
risks.
We
analyzed
614
pesticides
188
wheat
fields
across
Europe
subjected
both
conventional
organic
farming
systems.
At
least
one
pesticide
residue
was
detected
141
soils.
Seventy-eight
or
metabolites
were
detected.
The
presence
of
significantly
higher
number
concentration
fileds
(up
0.98
mg
kg-1)
compared
organically
managed
sites
0.40
kg-1).
A
total
88
%
63
contained
two
more
pesticides.
Conversion
from
does
not
guarantee
will
be
pesticide-free
the
short
term.
Fenbutatin
oxide
most
frequently
systems,
followed
by
AMPA.
Other
substances,
such
as
boscalid,
epoxiconazole,
diflufenican,
tebuconazole,

Abstract
Background
The
APETALA2
(AP2)
transcription
factor
(TF)
superfamily,
one
of
the
largest
gene
families
in
plants,
plays
an
essential
role
regulating
plant
growth
and
their
stress
responses.
However,
AP2
rice
under
pesticide
remains
unclear.
To
investigate
characteristics
functions
family
stress,
expression
105
AP2-coding
genes
26
differentially
expressed
(DEGs)
were
identified
mesotrione
(MTR)-treated
transcriptome
datasets.
Results
Three
subfamilies
(AP2/ERF,
RAV,
soloists)
using
sequence
alignment
phylogenetic
analysis.
Chromosome
location
analysis
revealed
that
DEGs
unevenly
distributed
on
10
12
chromosomes,
segmental
duplication
contributed
to
expansion
Oryza
sativa
(OsAP2)
family.
Collinearity
analyses
demonstrated
displayed
16
orthologous
pairs,
pairs
shared
Arabidopsis
soybean,
respectively.
In
addition,
featured
various
structures,
cis-elements,
motif
compositions,
conserved
domains
allowed

Abstract
Permanent
crops
rely
heavily
on
pesticides.
Their
short-term
behaviour
has
already
been
characterised
under
laboratory
conditions.
However,
their
degradation
in
the
field
is
still
poorly
understood.
Furthermore,
studies
that
relate
pesticide
residues
soil
with
application
history
are
scarce,
despite
relevance
for
inferring
historical
and
diffuse
dimensions
of
pollution.
This
work
explores
spatial
temporal
dynamics
light
records
accuracy
predicted
environmental
concentrations
(PEC).
To
achieve
these
purposes,
270
samples
were
collected
at
5
sampling
times
over
2022
growing
season,
18
peach
orchards
from
east-central
Portugal.
Moreover,
data
extracted
was
used
to
obtain
levels
which
compared
measured
results.
A
total
37
analysed.
Overall,
32
detected
back
in,
least,
one
sample.
Glyphosate
AMPA
most
frequently
found
had
highest
median
concentrations.
The
comparison
between
(MEC)
suggests
decay
generally
slower
than
expected.
Glyphosate,
AMPA,
fluopyram
tebuconazole
showed
a
high
potential
resulting
background
soil.
Our
results
highlight
need
regular
comprehensive
monitoring,
being
recommended
long-term
assessments
persistence
fate
pesticides
realistic
our
also
stress
necessity
more
reasons
PEC-MEC
mismatch,
factor
concern
considering
regulatory
PEC
values.
