A synthetic pyrethroid pesticide, bifenthrin, has been commonly used as an effective exterminator, although the rise in its usage raised concerns regarding effects on environment and public health, including reproduction, globally. The current study investigated function-related molecular disparities mechanisms bifenthrin-exposed sperm cells underlying mechanism. Therefore, epididymal spermatozoa were released, various concentrations of bifenthrin treated (0.1, 1, 10, 100 μM) to evaluate their sperm. findings showed that had no effect viability, other functions (e.g., motility, spontaneous acrosome reaction, capacitation) related male fertility decreased, commencing at a 1 µM treatment. Molecular studies revealed nine differentially expressed proteins implicated motile cilium assembly, structure, metabolic processes. Furthermore, affected through abnormal diminution expression specific proteins. Collectively, these provide greater insights into how affects level.
