Carbon dioxide removal (CDR) is a necessary complement to emissions reductions achieve state of global net zero and stabilise future warming. Despite its utility, CDR remains poorly understood. Abstract Climate change mitigation will most likely rely on large-scale carbon dioxide removal (CDR). Often, only a few technology options are used, principally bioenergy, capture and sequestration, as well afforestation reforestation. The expansion of the construction land scale has been vital in supporting rapid economic development and meeting social needs. However, spatial heterogeneity effect on carbon emission intensity at county level remains underexplored.
